The NRAS incentive is indexed each year and is effective from 1 May. The indexation is calculated according to movements in the Rents component of the Housing Group Consumer Price Index for the year December quarter as at 1 March, using the weighted average rate of eight capital cities housing component.
There has been a 3.7% increase for 2013-14 and as such the incentive is now $10, 350 in total from the Federal and State Governments.
Given predictions on property market growth and in particular Rental Rates we believe the following is likely over the next ten years.
Based on a 4% compound the ten years incentive estimate is:
NRAS Incentive | |||
Yr 1 | 2013/14 | $ 10,350 | |
Yr 2 | 2014/15 | $ 10,764 | est |
Yr 3 | 2015/16 | $ 11,195 | est |
Yr 4 | 2016/17 | $ 11,642 | est |
Yr 5 | 2017/18 | $ 12,108 | est |
Yr 6 | 2018/19 | $ 12,592 | est |
Yr 7 | 2019/20 | $ 13,096 | est |

This is all very positive for NRAS investors and continues to make NRAS properties a very attractive investment option.
But Properties are limited and demand is very high so you need to act now.
